Grief-ID archive

ABOUT US

We are researchers from the University of Twente, working every day to make research more FAIR—Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable.

Dr. Lonneke Lenferink and her team have been exploring how people experience grief in daily life. In doing so, they’ve also seen just how challenging it can be to carry out intensive longitudinal studies that ask participants to answer questions several times a day. Even with thoughtful designs and user-friendly apps, this kind of research comes with its share of difficulties.

That’s why we believe in sharing our work and collaborating with other researchers who study grief in daily life. By bringing together existing efforts, we can unlock new ways of looking at grief beyond retrospective measures.

Together with Dr. Justina Pociūnaitė-Ott, as part of her postdoctoral fellowship, we created Grief-ID Archive—a resource designed to make sharing and reusing grief data easier for researchers everywhere. This would not have been possible with the support of Trauma Data Institute.
